I remember that some time back when podcasting was just starting to blow up and I was listening to D&D (early 2005) - and there was this other podcast that I checked out and I didn't like it. I thought they were trying to copy D&D and it wasn't working for me. Now I'm afraid it might have been KATG! Were there any other guy/girl podcasts at that time? Or did my taste in podcasts just change?

How the fuck are we supposed to know? Nate and Di, Keith and the Girl, Soccergirl Incorporated, it coulda been ANY of the many couplecasts that existed back then and still exist today.

We all basically talk about nothing, throw our lives out there and hope people listen. Some, like KATG, are entertaining and funny, poignant and start a community of people that have never met but can relate to each other on some level or another. Others, we won't name names but I've never heard a Nate & Di episode, AREN'T entertaining and we either listen anyways because they're familiar or we just dump them for better shit.

I'd like to hope all couplecasts aren't shit. I certainly hope ours isn't and I know KATG isn't. People like to talk. People like to share their lives. Why the fuck am I getting all philosophical right now? It was just a simple fucking question. Jesus Christ.

You gotta read the post all the way to the end. You know, where I wonder why the hell I'm even getting so philosophical. Where I tell you to nevermind. Where I somehow decided to hit the POST button ANYWAYS.

There was an attempt at entertainment but like I said, some things aren't entertaining and apparently somethings aren't meant to be MADE entertaining.
