I think one of the problems with the response you've gotten is that you came in hot and heavy. The bold and strong language showed you were very frustrated but it seemed like overkill for something that most people actually enjoy.

I've been guilty of this myself. I've stewed in my own frustration until I finally had to vent. By then it was too late for anything sane to come out of me and my response seems like a ridiculous overreaction.

You've been a fan for 5 years so you should know that I've been generally responsive with tech requests on the site. In the future, feel free to PM first with a request before going through the trouble of creating code on your own. As we've seen in this thread, it could probably benefit others too.

I am sometimes tired of wearing headphones, so I am going to write an app to generate subtitles for the audio feeds to allow me to read the show.

VIP's will be able to read stuff Danny says in a pink comic sans font.

I will then create a thread about it, and bask in the ensuing glory.
