Tracy Morgan Fans Need To Hear This

Everyone with a pulse loves Tracy Morgan, he's a hilarious unstoppable madman on TV's 30 Rock and an unpredictable livewire interviewee, but I've never heard him speak as candidly and emotionally as he does in this radio interview.

He talks about SNL of course, and 30 Rock, and his Vietnam vet / junkie / musician father and about dealing crack as a kid. This is compelling shit from a guy who never seemed to really lets his guard down in any interview before this one. Who would have thought? An NPR interview that doesn't send you to sleep.

My only gripe about the interview is how skin-crawlingly infantalized Tracy sounds when he says "mommy" and "daddy" over and over again. Otherwise it was fun, fun, fun in a bun

My only gripe was Terry Gross trying to say "high on your own supply" with any semblance of authority.

Yeah, it seems really fitting for him that he would do that, I want to hear that sucker too.

as a side note about t.m.... i just watched a movie with him in it that i had never heard of before, "Frank McClusky, C.I." that was ridiculously stupid funny. the movie is mostly retarded, but i did enjoy his scenes.
