Any KATG listeners use webOS for their phones?

Just wondering if anyone uses a webOS phone (Pre Plus/Pre and Pixi/Pixi Plus).

I personally know no one who has a webOS phone that hasnt gotten one only because I referred them to it

In my opinion its a lot better than Android OS and a shit ton better than iOS and can't figure out why there really arent many people with these phones even though its a solid OS, even though most of the marketing is terrible for it

Thanks in advance

I got the original Palm Pre almost a year ago from eBay and have been pretty happy with it. I've been a sprint user for a while now and I'm generally happy with the connection. I only remember having dropped calls twice, and I've been with them since '05. I mostly use it for internet though, which it does nicely. I've used the [sub-legal] tether app several times when my home internet broke, or at the airport.

Only complaints are webOS doesn't really allow general file downloads from the web (they generally obscure their file system, so if it's not an app, an image, a web doc, or a PDF, it probably can't be downloaded), I've only been able to stream KATG. Also it's probably not as sturdy as the iPhone, since it's entirely plastic. The case is starting to have some small cracks on the side, but given that phones get replaced every 1-2 years now, it's not going to be an issue.

I don't know how it compares to the iPhone or Android. I know there haven't been any updates that killed my phone and I never had to go to a store to get it working. My old landlord had the iPhone and something would go wrong every update.

PS: they enabled the camera recorder a couple of months ago, which is awesome.

well I think at least that flash should come with webOS 2.0, or at least I think that is what Adobe said, and 2.0 should come this year at least

And for DL KATG, that was part of the changelog for 1.4.5, that podcasts downloaded properly,I personally just use Stitcher for podcasts on my Sprint Pre

KATG with Palm Pre

I have a Palm Pre Plus just because I always used a Palm (long before WebOS), but never realized WebOS could stream a KATG live feed. Wonder if there's going to be more WebOS apps after HP starts delivering the Pad and new phones. Well, we'll see...

I gave up on Palm phones when the Pre 2 looked EXACTLY like the Pre I already had, with just a faster processor (which has already been dwarfed).

Went with Android, never looking back.

I'm afraid I will have to, after all these years, though Palm did have the best PIM applications (at least concerning my needs, still use DateBK). So I just sit and wait for the summer - the HP Palm and Pad are due to arrive and probably tons of new Android (3.0) devices.
You went with Android - HTC?

Samsung. Epic 4G, even though I don't get 4G service here, and probably won't for many years. But there's an equivalent Galaxy S phone on every carrier now.
