University student? I need your help...
 

I have really crap electronic journal access at the moment. Universities have great electronic access. To use their website and get good electronic access, you need some student or staff library login and password.

Can anyone help me out?

I've got Athens access if you need it? Good access to lots of journals and bunch of other useful things.

I'd like to help, but I don't know of any journals/articles that I have exclusive access to as a student.

You should get library tours as a freshman and all the internet stuff, also some other classes dedicate a day or so to show how to use all that stuff.

spooks: I'd give you mine, but my school uses the same account for email and financial stuff. If you have some journal you follow periodically, I can send you the PDFs if nobody gives you an account. School search: Find E-Journals

I used the University of Wyoming shit library site from Casper Wyoming while I was doing a summer program but home. You might be able to access their shit without passwords. /shrug

Hm, okay after looking up a bit on the school's site, I think this must be what you're talking about.

If so, it seems like it's not private, so you should be able to access it,
and if not, just PM me and I'll tell ya my school username/password.

Ok so it's actually for me, only I can't access the forums for work, so asked spooky to ask for me (I can't even access gmail at work, but that's another story).

I'm a biologist and I need to download any new articles that come out in my field. I don't have a university affiliation, and so I can't access most of the journal articles that come out. Frustrating.

If you belong to any university, your library webpage should have something along the lines of "electronic journals". Always password protected. If anyone has a login/password that I could use for a bit, I'd be extremely grateful. I'll send gifts from Australia or Asia or something in return!

Since I'm at school and using the school's wifi, which I need to log in to to use, it might just automatically know I'm a student....let me know if that link asks you for a log in.
