The Winter Olympics are less than a year away. Four years ago when they passed the flag to the Vancouver's annoyingly happy wheelchair bound mayor I decided I was going. But I guess I mistakenly thought I'd have more money now than I did then. I don't. So I don't know if it's even possible. But this is the place people seem to find their resolve for things, and I am ready to rededicate myself to this goal. It may be too late already, but right now, as I type this, I am convinced there is a way.

There must be other people out there that will join me on this. Even if they are just bored Vancouver residents. My original plan was to rent a camper and drive up there (from Los Angeles) because hotels would be ridiculously expensive and hard to come by as late as I knew I would be doing this, so that still holds, although parking a camper up there during this isn't going to be easy either. But if we can figure it out, we can all get there together.

I'd love to go, if I have my shit together by then. I wouldn't give that a solid word yet though.

That's the problem. It requires such advanced planning and I'm so sure I'm capable. Not because of lack of foresight or anything, just economically. Stupid reality.
