I'm going to Vegas for my 21st at the end of September. Do you guys have any tips or tricks or things I should know? I went a few times as a kid but I need some wisdom from some veterans. I'll probably stay at Harrah's or Bally's. I'm flying out on (my birthday) Friday, Sept. 30.
Also, I'm almost 21 you old shits!

I went to Vegas on my 21st and I stayed at Harrah's! It's a great place. I've been back to Vegas 3 times since then and it was still my favorite. It's not all themed so you're not paying a bunch of money for the giant Sphynx or the white tigers in the lobby but it still has a great pool and a couple cool bars outside. The steakhouse upstairs was awesome. And you can walk the strip freely and see all the other cool shit in the other hotels without paying the prices to stay there.

Hey Fletch,

I lived in Vegas for 9 years. If you are looking for some "off the beaten path" spots, I got you covered!

For some killer burgers, head to Kilroys Restaurant and Bar. Cheap food, cheap booze, all around good times.

If you wanna get away from all the craziness for an afternoon, head to Mount Charleston (about an hour outside of town). There are some killer spots for hiking, amazing views, and great exotic food! (Elk, moose, buffalo, venison, rabbit, etc)

Sidebar on Freemont Street is a relaxing but happening cigar lounge/bar.
