Vote for your favorite KATG episode!
Hello, fellow KATG fan (I assume). Do you want a way to show the world of public radio fans that they're missing out on something approximately 69,000 times more amazing than Serial or whatever? Then pop on over to NPR's new podcast survey and fill in the blanks with your favorite episode of KATG! Perhaps it was an early classic! Perhaps it was the episode where Lauren came out as trans! Maybe it was one of these many gems...
Either way, it's a quick and easy way to support KATG. Thanks! Goddess bless! |

I didddddddddd it! It really only takes 5 seconds to fill out, but I spent ages going through all my favourite eps. There is no such thing as the 'best' KATG - they are top shelf.

KATG 1602: Fifty Shades of Gay
It's true. "There are no best KATG eps" as they're all pretty fantastic. However my 'go-to' has always been #1602. That one STILL makes me laugh. Hard.
Also, looking up your favorite guest under PAST GUESTS really helps. YES!!! Last edited by Enunciated Piffle; 03-25-2015 at 04:42 PM. Reason: npr shanininagans |

Thank you guys so much! I would love love LOVE for NPR to acknowledge us!
I hope that you are including all these thoughts in the description area! Also, please pass the link along to anyone who you know listens to the show. Even if they can't think of a fave episode... they can just say that in the notes. The more people fill this out the better! Thank you for your support! We love you!!!!!! |

Interesting point.
I love me some Terry Gross, but every time she interviews a favorite comedian, (Marc Maron, Louis CK, etc) I always cringe. It's so censored. Everythings taboo. Adult brilliance is made childish. Even tho the show is secular. There's some strange, (almost fake religious reverence) to being polite. It's so fake. Also, extremely sexist. Here's a fun comparision. Go back and listen to Marc Maron's interview on Fresh Air. Then listen to Amy Schumer's. Terry gushes over Maron's sexuality on his show. But when talking to Amy, she near shames her. I don't know if it's Jewish upbringing, but Terry bluntly shames Amy's sexuality. She acts like her damn Nanna! Don't get it twisted. NPR is big time. It'd be tremendous for KATG to be recognized on that level. However. It's sad to be mindful of censorship when considering...consideration. The beauty of podcasts like KATG is that they don't second guess themselves. They speak without wondering who's truth they're speaking. It's the close-est thing to real media reflection we have.... This being said. Yeah. I dunno. Let's get KATG on the map. Fuck it ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Enunciated Piffle; 03-29-2015 at 04:48 AM. |
