The company helps you by giving you fuel, and repair discounts, and by having terminals, which don't charge you fatigue points for refueling and repairing. You help the company because after every route, the company takes a percentage (right now it's 15%) off the top of your reward.

You help the company by making deliveries.. Brumski Enterprises will take a 15% cut of your delivery fee. What you get back in reurn is reduced fees on fuel, repairs, and fines when you're at the company depot. You get bonuses for delivering to company terminals (currently NYC and Atlanta) and hauling preferred company cargo tings (which is of course beer). You can also buy company stock later in the game.

Check the help and newbie pages on the site for more details.

Oh and I keep getting spammed by other companies wanting to take me on. Does everyone get this crap?

You only get it in the begining, and if you're really good, and don't belong to a company.

btw, the company preferred cargo gives a 10% bonus when you're hauling it. CEO should be switching the preferred cargo to the best route cargo for the period.

For example, the current best route is Glass from Jacksonville to Atlanta, so your preferred cargo should be Glass. It'll change in 25 hours though, so you should wait for the next update.
