I think you need to cut Svenja some slack. I'm guessing she is depressed. That is why she is in bed (fake headache) and messed up the date of your wedding. (Maybe because her dose of anti-depressants are way off.) It sounds so much like my sister who does the same weird stuff.

Also, if she was crying about it, she felt bad. Don't need to make her feel like more of a shit.

I could see it taking a long time to let the resentment subside, if ever. My best friend pulled some fucked up shit around our wedding. Only she still showed up and was a bridesmaid, which made things harder. The wedding was 4.5 years ago, I still harbor some resentment about it. Something about the hurt always surfaces when I think about our wedding day, especially. Best thing I did was cut that bitch out of our lives after the wedding! Not that this was the same thing. But something about it being around your wedding makes seemingly smaller issues harder to explain away.

Give your wife some time, and definitely don't let impede your wedded bliss!
