summer of 1st grade year, I rode my bike to a record store and bought

I remember my father came home from work and I was playing it on his Fisher Hi-Fi console. He said, calmly,"Turn off that nigger yelling."

First thing I remember: I had some Scooby Doo story record that I loved playing on my Batman record player (probably still in my parents attic).
First one I remember buying: Cassette. X, Live at the Whisky (still a favorite. I replaced it 3 times having worn them out before I finally bought it on CD)
Stole: Never actually stole, but my first bootleg share was a casette of Eazy E - Eazy-Duz-It.

I got that same Fisher Price record player for Christmas when I was in the 3rd grade. Santa brought me Billy Ocean's Carribean Queen and Billy Joel's Uptown Girl 45's to go with it. I sat in our basement and played them over and over and over again all through the holiday break!

First album I ever bought with my own money was Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet. Ah... good times!

I was always afraid of those cassette censors so I never went the way of the criminal. I don't even DL music without paying for it today... I leave that to Mr. DaH!

Mine was blue and it was from Santa when I was 4. I'd have it beside a clunky tape recorder and play DJ for hours. My mom has that tape somewhere.

I have no idea what my first was, I was always surrounded by music, from Star Wars Disco Party to The Wall to Queen and Kiss...it's really endless.
