Booooo is right. Hubby had the receipt and the dealership asked him to get a copy of everything they did to it last time it was in. The receipt only shows it got an air filter and full service. He went to Jiffy Lube and told him they couldn't print that out for him.
F'ing bastards.
Dealership is saying there wasn't a drop of oil in the thing and they can't find any leaks. Oil was change was done less than 3000 miles ago. Where the hell does that oil disappear to if there is no leak?

Must be f'ing magic I guess....

Husband just got off the phone with them again. They wouldn't give it to him while he was there, but now they are faxing a copy of it to his work number, which means now he needs to go into the office to pick it up, then take it out to the dealership.

I hope he actually ate lunch today, but I get the feeling he didn't.

These people suck. What garbage. Harumph!

Edit: I made sure to ask him if they told Jiffy Lube what it was for and he said he didn't....Good!

Jiffy Lube sucks! The scumbag that changed my Mom's oil a few months ago stole her Mobil speedpass from the keychain, and it took her a few days to figure out it was missing. By that time, he racked up $150 in gas charges. But he got caught and fired - guess they have video cameras.

Oh god does Jiffy Lube suck! Got a fuel filter replacement there and paid for it. They broke the hose clamps. All you have to do is tug them a bit to loosen them. Instead, they pulled the clamps completely off which broke them because you can't put them back once they're out.

So what'd they do? They just put it all back like normal and hoped it'd hold. It did...for 2 months. Then, on the way to work the clamp came loose, the fuel drained behind me and no gas equals no power so I was stuck. I took it into a Ford dealer in Encinitas who said I had to replace the entire line because when they order them from the factory they have to buy the entire line.

So I went to another Jiffy Lube to get a free repair on the hose clamp section that they broke. He showed me what they did wrong, fixed it for free and off I went. No more than 2 weeks later I had the exact same thing happen. Oh yeah, he showed me the bad clamp...right before he went under there and put it right back in place. Fucking idiot.

Took it to a Ford dealer in Poway who said they had a hundred of those clamps in their drawers and they fixed it for a very minimal price. I paid $5 for the part and $100 for labor vs. the $630 the other place wanted to charge me for the part alone.

I've gone to the Poway dealership for everything ever since.

Other than jiffy Lube...

Having to go to my stupid second job when the sky is blue, the breeze is blowing and the beach is fifteen minutes away really makes me mad. Fuck stupid jobs on awesome days.
