The Harmony remote is amazing.

With one button It will turn on my tv go to the input for cable and turn on my cable box, you can setup everything to function that way EVEN YOUR XBOX!!!

Mine is the 610 model retail 80 US$ but when it was scanned it was 30 bucks off

You can find it for under $20 anywhere now though.

Works with ANY harmony remote. Won't power on/off though. There are some $30ish solutions that do that, however. You just have to look

Uh, no shit? Who DOES NOT use a surge protector? When I bring a ~$500 piece of electronic equipment into my house, that beast is going straight into a surge protector.
