BAW, Valve have only regularly supplied free content for one of their incredible online shooters and not the new, dynamic one that never plays the same way twice
Really?

it does if you try hard enough

NYKO

Got mine from amazon for about $6 or 7 on their black fridayish sale?

You can find it for under $20 anywhere now though.

Works with ANY harmony remote. Won't power on/off though. There are some $30ish solutions that do that, however. You just have to look

As for L4D - I do all my playing past 9PM PST, so if anyone is interested, add me!

Read here.

Law of the Game: The Xbox 360 Repair Saga: Shoot the Surge Protection?

You'd think, after reading the article that, of course, it was right!

Until you REALLY read it.

However, the article says "probably 90% of the consoles they see have all failed in 6-12 months of being plugged into a surge protector"

Uh, no shit? Who DOES NOT use a surge protector? When I bring a ~$500 piece of electronic equipment into my house, that beast is going straight into a surge protector.

More tings:

Do not overload your wall outlet,
extension cord, power strip, or other
electrical receptacle. Confirm that they
are rated to handle the total current (in
amps [A]) drawn by the Xbox 360
console (indicated on the power supply
unit) and any other devices that are on
the same circuit.
End of the day, MS people are idjuts. They're trying to distract from the fact that they make assed out consoles.

I'd first make sure that's the case, because what happens if you plug it into the wall, there is a surge and your 360 boots it?

"I'm sorry, we don't cover against power surges"

At that point, I'd pee myself laughing. I really would.
