Agreed. Lost and The Damned has a similar mode with a team playing the biker gang and another team playing people trying to protect a witness or something.

I love Free Mode. I can't even remember the last time I played with the cops turned on. I just like getting friends together and fucking around for an hour or two, be it trying to crash helicopters into each other, getting into high speed chases with other groups of people on the interstate, or diving off the tops of buildings trying to land on each other. There's many, many things to do.

I wish Rockstar would do a Burnout Paradise-style thing with this game and just keep adding things to the city. Each time I play GTA4, I fall in love with Liberty City all over again. Fable 2 can suck a dick next to this game when it comes to feeling like a part of the world.

It's about damn time. All I've ever seen about the release is "coming soon" and thats easily been since August of last year. I've seen that GSP, Penn, Jackson, Henderson, Franklin, and Griffin will be in it. Any news on additional fighters and if there will be a create mode?

Right now I'm playing the Halo Wars Demo and the Resident Evil 5 demo. Halo Wars is amazing and I keep playing even though you can only do one skirmish map. Resident evil 5 is equally enjoyable and I may end up buying both (if I can convince my other half that I need more games)

QUESTION!! I've been trying to play co-op campaign in Halo 3 with a buddy of mine and it is so choppy we can't play. Like, it took 10 minutes to play through the opening cut scene. We both have our games installed to the hard drive, we have pretty good connections, and nothing is corrupted... even normal multiplayer is perfect! WTF is the deal? Help please!

Also, F.E.A.R. 2 was a decent play-through. Pretty solid single player, and the MP is good too. I'd suggest it for anyone who's sick of L4D.

Answer: Bungie designed Halo3 before the announcement of Hard Drive play. The game tries to use the hard drive by default for a better game experience. That featured combined with the feature of HD play breaks the game. Bungie made an announcement that they strongly discourage HD download and play use. Delete and play on, maybe I will jump in for a few levels.


BTW: GTA4 LatD DLC is AWESOME!!! last night I had my greatest police escape moment ever. I was running forever stuck on foot and with a dash of life, I found a parking garage ran up the ramp with every cop in Liberty city following. Got to the top jumped in a car, hit a rap off the roof of the parking structure, which was aimed at an highway underground tunnel passage, HOME FREE!!!

It was honestly a 30-40 minute gun fight, car chase, and foot race. I was at the edge of my seat and kept thinking "no way will I get out of this". Turns out it was my all time greatest video game moment ever!! seriously why didnt I have this much fun playing gta4 6 months ago?

The latest patch had a warning not to install Halo 3 on the hard drive that you HAD to confirm in order to play the game, so you're a dummy.

I guess everyone has to have that one moment. For me, it was running around Star Junction in free mode shooting other people in cars with an RPG while three helicopters were trying to take me out with their blades.

Does anyone know where i can get the update that adds DivX/avi support? I updated to NXE and now i can't play avi's and the only updates i can find on Xbox's site is a HDDVD update and a backward compatability update.
