I'm about to finish GOW2 and I'm working on CoD Modern Warfare.

Jmac bought Left 4 Dead for herself but; A) She's horrible and video games, and B) The Zombies give her nightmares.

[QUOTE=standardman;546098]Nice! How much did that cost? Always thought it'd be cool to build one.

I paid $100 for a non working X-Men VS Street Fighter machine, gutted it, put a used PC I got for $20 in running XP w/2 gigs ram ($100), 40 gig HD, and whatever intel card. I build a support for a '19 inch LCD monitor ($200) , and built a new control panel using a Playstation 2 Tekken 5 stick mounted to new panel wood. I got an adapter ($16) for converting the Playstation cord to USB. I want to build a new panel w/new buttons, joysticks, trackball at some point but I just wanted to get it going. If you add me on Facebook as Ian Daddybones I have a whole album with pics on the building process. All and all it was under $500.

Under $500 is impressive! Adding you now. Any guides or resources up for this kind of thing? I would LOVE a MAME cabinet.

I feel already old playing that one but i'm still in love with "Dead Space". It reminds me a lot of those cheesy gory sci-fi horrors i liked when i was a teen!

I've been playing Resident Evil 5. It's not too bad, a lot of people complained about the controls (not being able to walk and aim simultaneously) but I didn't have any big issues with it... until trying to beat the game in professional mode.

any enemy kills you in 1 hit, which makes the ones who use crossbows or any projectile annoying since you can't quickly dodge it when trying to snipe them.

I guess it's an issue if you're used to "run and gun" FPS games. In games like Resident Evil you're not supposed to wipe ou enemies easily...

It's like people playing Call of Duty 4, and then complain because Rainbow six is "Slow" in comparison. It's a different approach, that's all...
