Left 4 Dead 2 improves on the first in every way but they are quite different and Left 4 Dead is less than seven damn pounds. Get both!

Just got L4D2 yesterday and, as a fan of the first one, love it! Like Standardman said, it is better than the first one times a babillion! Makes it feel like an unfinished product.

Actually took advantage of that sale and bought Left 4 Dead. So far I've only played through the first campaign, but it is very fun!

Funny, I was talking about EA's turnaround recently with someone I work with. He still thought of them as the 'old EA' but I've been impressed by their change after they realised everyone hated them, it's kinda like they were hurt by it.

Having said that, it's unfortunate that a lot of their risks didn't pay off financially.
