STEEEEEEEEEEEEAM SAAAAAAAAAAAAALES!
Team Fortress 2 - £4.75 \ $6.79 The greatest multiplayer class-based shooter ever made but you already own it, right? X-COM Complete - £2.24 \ $3.74 Original is by far the best (and a must play) but it's worth grabbing them all at this price. Grand Theft Auto IV - £4.99 \ $4.99 is what it is. the movie making thing is fun. Commandos Collection - £3.00 \ $3.75 Three great games for a pound each! Street Fighter IV - £7.49 \ $9.99 actually a very good port, not sure I'd play a fighting game on pc, though Numen: Contest of Heroes - £4.24 \ $7.49 no idea Osmos - £1.74 \ $2.49 brilliant, suprisingly complex yet smoothing puzzle game. Makes me think of Sagan. ARMA II - £12.49 \ $19.99 Great game, not a great price. Quote:

So Glad I didn't buy GTA IV the other day. Buying it now for sure though.

I've played of a lot of Los Santos MP on pc too though. Don't really have a preference. I think I can use a 360 pad if I really want to though. |

Now that Team Fortress 2 is back on crazy cheap....I really don't know if I should get or not...
Main reason I think not: I already own Orange Box on PS3. -BUT, while I was at school, I could never seem to connect to the EA network or w/e to be able to play. I can't test it here at home cause I don't have an internet connection...but I'll be back in school in about 2 months...I think I should wait...sorta. -While it is, ridiculously cheap...I'm broke and generally speaking I'm trying to spend as close to NO money as possible...though it's very tempting and wouldn't "kill" me to buy. Main reasons I think yes: It's so damn cheap! All my friends who play, play on Steam, and you guys play on Steam...really nobody I know does it on PS3. I could easily go to a friends house ASAP (well, as soon as my car gets fixed cause I was in a crash Thursday) and play instantly. Cause I've yet to play this game after owning it for nearly 5 months!

There's a lot of violent games around but the way this one allows you to be a reckless brutal badass that nobody can break, no matter how hard they try is just soo wrong and sooo cool. That and a prison. Not enough good ultraviolent prison games.... (I remember a nice one that also had some psychological horror overtones that i played and enjoyed but i forgot the title...)
I have to say that i have problems playing GTA without a controller too. I am so inept at driving, even more with a keyboard. The GTA IV early driving challenges (the ones with Roman's car) almost destroyed my enjoyement of the game. |
