Dragon Age 2! I'm loving it, wish I didn't have a heap of homework to do today before I can get stuck into again.

Finished Dead Space on the iPhone - best game graphically, sonically and all the othe "ally"s I've ever played on the iPhone.
Last night I started and finished Dead Space: Extraction on the PS3. Not a fan of on-rails shooters but it was a great, quick ride with a pretty good story to lead into playing the Dead Space 2. Which I am off to start, right meow. |

Got accepted to play APB Reloaded's closed beta.
It's like going back home after a long time away. Also pre-ordered Homefront on Steam and got Metro 2033 for free, so I'm playing that a bit too, until Homefront comes out next week. |

I got really excited because I thought you said HomeWorld. Now I'm sad.

trying Red Dead Redemption.
I still think that Rockstar pulls the "i'm going to make this realistic so you'll have to do a lot of inane shit and obnoxious side missions before you do the good stuff". But handling the horses seems less psychotic than gtaIV driving and it looks and feels great. |

My girlfriend and I are both slogging through Dragon Age 2 at the moment. Unanimous decision (between the two of us) is that this is a huge disappointment. Combat is more enjoyable, and it's great to have the main character talk as in ME, but that's about where the praise ends.
Dull, boring, short (for an rpg), and ultimately anti-climactic. Good news though... Torchlight came out on Wednesday. Say what you will about it, but I love me a good old-fashioned loot grab. So when exactly is Diablo 3 coming out??? As a side response to Junk there, I think you'll be really happy with Red Dead overall. Good thing here is that you can very easily shy away from the side quests and still have a very enjoyable experience that lasts a good amount of time. Have you tried the multiplayer? Back when I had the game the multi was COMPLETELY broken. Wondering how it is now... |

just played it a mere 30 minutes to see how it was havent checked it in full, but i do like it a lot. feared the horse handling would be utter frustration but (weirdly) the horses handle WAY better than the cars (the driving in the early mission was what made me hate GTAIV) i am in love with the ps3 games im playing btw. Uncharted 2 is just amazing. Heavy rain haunts me, and killzone 3 is a cinematic fps dream. i might even give up pc gaming completely if i get enough games going on. NOTE: that fucking stealth scene in Uncharted 2 is nuts, though. |
