i think the sequel is called 'syndicate'

i liked syndicate wars, the syndicate remake looks like dues ex.

theres a funny penny arcade strip about how gabe spent his time developing a comp-sci major and the first boss battle you need a cyber thug.

i barely used my pheremone dialogue thing and never used my typhoon thing.

i think, from what i heard, the syndicate reeboot wont have the freedom deus ex gives.

The pheromone works well into manipulating some characters into helping you, gets you to learn interesting info and overall it was precious form my "detective" style of playing.

love to strike terror in people with blackmail and threats or twist their virtual heads around until they obeyed.

and yeah, the bosses throw all that in the garbage. theres ways to make the fights quicker, but it doesnt even look like the same game

I'm not too sure where they will go with a Deus Ex sequel though. 'Human Revolution' was actually a prequel to the original launch title, and 'Invisible War' was set decades after the original. So any further games certainly couldn't focus on the same concerns, and definitely not the same character. Unless they throw in a cheesy 'cryogenic freezing plot' somewhere in there to make the time line make sense.

Batman: Arkham City. It's amazing. I've only played about four hours so far and have to pace myself cause uni is getting intense which is very frustrating. Highly recommend it.

I like loudly taking dudes out until there's 2 guys left, then I disable their guns and walk right behind them until they turn around. I wish there was a button I could push when that happens to make Batman say, "I'M BATMAN" *nutpunch*.

Played some Battlefield 3 today - graphics are impressive and multiplayer is excellent as expected, already had some holy fuck moments! Played a bit of the campaign and it is fairly meh, seems like it is trying to copy Call of Dutys frantic pace and over the top situations - maybe they are just showing off Frostbite 2 engine.
