I know I'm late to the party, but I've recently become obsessed with Minecraft.

That and...I've been replaying Silent Hill 2 so my sister can watch it.

I can't wait to get into Skyrim...

Depends. I like story and atmosphere above pretty much anything else (as long as it's playable). So for me, it's definitely Arkham Asylum. WAY tighter game than Arkham City, in my opinion. I really liked the Metroidvania feel of AA. Was good times from start to finish.

AC had good sandbox elements, but I just couldn't get into it the same way. Freeze and Catwoman were wicked additions though.

I simply liked both. Arkham City is a bit more open, but not too much. Depends on your preferences I think.
I would say get Arkham Asylum, if u like it, just get Arkham City later.

Got the original X-Com in anticipation of the new one later this year. Never played it before. Terrible interface, other then that it's pretty great.

Holy crap I love the original X-Com - played that game so many times over the years. Not interested in the new shooter they are making but heard they are doing a remake of the original which could be awesome but if they mess with it too much it could quite easily be shit
