What ever happened to the real shit talking on this board? What happened to people willing to tell KATG they did a bad job in a not so nice way when the show was subpar that day? Why isnt their someone threatening to quit the boards because you pissed them off anymore? Now it seems to me that this board and the chat are a lot more defensive of KATG, rather than offensive for the fuck of it. When I try and ding a boring guest in the chat, I get people telling me if I dont like it listen to another show instead of the whole chat demanding the guests head as well. I think it stems from everyone wanting their name mentioned on the show, they call in to say "great show" instead of anything of substance. Let me tell you kids, my name gets mentioned on the show, Ive called in a few times with stories, the next day, no one fucking remembers. So quit worrying about whether your post or feedback will get mentioned, or wasting our time with your gay ass kissing calls. The slogan is "Hey all you ASSHOLES come and listen to us" not "Hey you faggot pussies come and listen to us", so knock this gayness off and lets get this shows attitude back on track.

Legion, not everyone (very few actually) agrees with you that Max is a bad guest. Personally, he's one of my favorite guests, and it was a good show in my mind.

If a bad guest is on the show, then we will bitch about, but we won't just start complaining for the sake of complaining.

Im not just talking about Matt B, who by the way is completely unfunny. Im talking about the whole show becoming pussified. The old audience was people who would hand you your ass if you so much as liked the wrong brand of soap. The new audience is teenage girls who call up and say "great show" and show their tits on the forum (dont get me wrong, tits are fine). Old guests are like Charlie, who hated his fucking wife, drank too much and got arrested. The new guests, are like Matt B, not funny and thinks the word chavs is entertaining to say 5 dozen times. Im sure the show will have its ups and downs, I just liked it better when their were more people willing to speak out and cause trouble rather than just kiss each others asses and powder each others breasts.

I think a lot of the 'assholes' have gone the way of the dinosaur. LD, and BlueCC were fuckin' pricks to me when I first joined. To this day I'm about the only one who is glad LD isn't here. BlueCC comes around once in a while but mostly posts nonsense (why is that?)

The theme does ask all the assholes to come along, but it's only been teenage girls lately. Maybe they just like anal and they misheard the lyrics.

I can understand where Legion is coming from (although I think Matt should be a weekly or bi-weekly guest!), there have been a couple of show's recently which seemed like they were phoned-in; on the whole if I want something to laugh at while driving --- KATG is it.

Compared to the early shows when it was largly a male-centric show, now the mix of people is pussifing the chat and show. Now all the moderators boot you out when u type in a drunken thought. Lets all just have a drink or 10 and let the free flow live...and get the minors off the chat.

This was bound to happen - the show starts to get more popular and then some old listeners get jealous that they're not the only ones who like the show now. "Whatever happened to the good old days?"

Same thing happens with bands,

Old Guy: "They've gone mainstream!"
New Guy: "What makes you say that?"

The show is evolving, the audience is growing - sure there are teenage girls listening but how is that affecting the show? Why don't you call in you fucktard and stop bitching like a little bitchy bitchface?

And stop whinging about the chatroom - does getting kicked really hurt your feelings? Sounds like something a teenage girl would get upset about. If someone is annoying you, there is an ignore button - use it.

I remember how it was in the chat, and it wasn't that fun. Someone would come in and just go "BRUMSKI!" and then you'd have a couple minutes of "NO BRUMSKI!" following that. Coupled with that, if a guest was just the least bit uninteresting, there would also be just a flood of "DING!"s, to the point where both just turned into a fucking mess.

It's just that I'm not looking for something shallow and vapid. The show has continued to be substantial, and with it might not have, pound for pound, as many laughs as the old shows did, it's still up there. I like these new guests because while they may not be outrageously funny, they add substance to the show. Victor is, apparently, funny, but I much rather would have Max or Matt B on the show.

As the podcast has gone on some of the chaff has been blown away, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

And on a side note, it's not like Jane showed her breasts for the hell of it as if it was like a Girls Gone Wild, KATG-style. It was following up on a topic on the forums, and showing the, ah, evidence, went a long way on keeping the topic flowing

Im not jealous of anything. I never get thrown out of the chat. I have called in and been on the show twice, both times with something to say, not "you are so great". This has nothing to do with other people liking the show, if that were the case wouldnt I be thrilled that my name gets thrown out like every other live show? I think their can be a happy medium between asshole and pussy friendly, I just think its swaying to the light side recently. Ignore button in the chat? That is exactly the pussy shit Im talking about. So and so hurt my feelings, Im putting him on ignore. Every other post on this topic has made fair points except you Brian, you sir are a fucking pussy. Dawn and Drew is the show you are looking for, why are all the Aussies on this board fags?
