I don't mind it on the forums, I mean, its half kids, half adults, half ingnoramuses (you get to classify each person in where ever you want to put them in), but to some degree, I think it should be kept off the show.

But, to be fair, I'm not the one running a successful podcast, either. Sometimes boundaries must be explored and limits pushed . . . that usually involves peoples' feathers getting ruffled.

While I think a lot of people have taken recent things personally, I still don't think anyone was personally attacked (and yes, there was a recent off-colour remark on episode 717 'It's not a fight', when I thought we all got enough of that on the New Year's Eve wrap-up). Maybe its just me, but I don't think that anyone (fans or "non-members") care enough to single anyone out for unprovoked malevolence, especially in the wake of positive comments they did go out of their way to say.

If you are new to this thread please vote yes for drama. If these forums were normal and dramaless they would be BOOOORRRIIINNGG! One of the reason why I am on the forums other than liking the show is the fact that there are no rules. Most forums I have participated in you can't curse or even mention your religious beliefs. Let people be the way the are that is why makes these forums so special. Instead of having polls and dumb threads on "too much drama" or "why are there so many fucking teams?" keep all the insane and interesting geek topics coming.

One strange thing though is how it doesn't seem to translate into real life. I mean TDSC hung out this weekend. There was no drama. We had a fucking blast. Apparently that kind of fun can't translate online for some reason.

Another observation I have kinda goes the other way. If you bitch and complain about people bitching and complaining, I just find that hilarious. Instantly Hypocritical comments are great for entertainment.

When you get deep into a community like this and you've met people and hung out and gained real life friends, it's tough sometimes not to take some things personal. When you have a community this large there's always going to be various threads of drama going on. Hell there's a few going on right now that are spanning a number of threads. Some of it is sad and pathetic, some of it is a bit quiet and no one's saying anything directly. Just beating around the bush and playing games. Some of it is direct and brutal. You read what you want, react to what you want and throw away the rest. If you aren't having fun it's probably your own fault and you should probably either re-evaluate how you're viewing things or just leave for a while...or altogether.
