I'll take the like! Seems like they only added likes in February or so. IMO, likes encourage better less troll-ish posting. Certain posters excluded.

Is it trollish to say "I agree" or "that's funny"? Is "troll" not necessarily a connotation of negativity?

Many forums users do not post (ie lurking) and pushing like is a de facto "I agree" or "that's funny." This encourages people to write things that the silent majority will find useful or funny. It's not trollish to post such things, but a like accomplishes the same purpose more efficiently, and it is somewhat gamified because you can track how many likes you have, see what opinions are popular, etc.
