Okay. I picked up a 12-month Gold membership this week because Amazon had them $10 off. I mostly got it for the streaming Netflix. My gamertag is Nernce.

What do I do now?

not bad, I usually get my xbox points stuff off ebay. but it's usually 5-2 bucks savings. well more if you factor I also don't pay tax.

btw if you're planning on getting Modern Warfare 2, Walmart.com is giving $20 credit. I used mine on xbox points.

I just pre-ordered Call of Duty 6 from Walmart here:
Walmart.com: Video Games: Call Of Duty

you see the blue credit icons?

From there you can then use the credit to buy points.. (or anything on walmart.com)
Walmart.com: Xbox Live 1600 Points Card(Xbox 360): Accessories

Then in about 5-10 minutes you are emailed the code for the giftcard that you can then use online. I've already got mine.
