Divorced...my Dad twice. Although his second wife left him for a guy who died two weeks later in a motorcycle crash.

Yikes that's crazy...

My story's a little complicated, in that my dad isn't my birth father but my parents still haven't told me, I don't think they every plan on it. So, technically my mother and "father" never married...but my mom and dad, as far as they think I know, have been married for 25 years and have a great relationship.

I'm adopted. I have no idea who my birth parents are.

I requested my original birth certificate, but my mom's records are vetoed (which apparently she remembers to renew every 10 years) and my father's details were never recorded. I believe I'll have access to her information after she dies ...

My adopted parents should have divorced years ago, but instead have been married for over 50 years.

In 1949 my father and a friend came across my mother and a friend playing on a swing set. He liked her legs in the short dress.

Each guy picked a girl, married her and lived happily ever after. My mother still has the makeup compact he gave her after school the next week.

My parents were married for 46-ish years - my father passed away 4 years ago and my Mom still misses him dearly. R.I.P.

My parents are divorced after 17 years and 5 kids, of which I am the oldest. It has been a decade since they split and they still can't stand each other. I don't have much faith in marriage.

I have perfectly fine faith in marriage. I don't have much faith in people's ability to know when it should end.

Married. 42 years.
Happy and still in love.

Very weird and tons of pressure,
considering I already have like 10 divorced
friends my age, and I recently turned 27.

My friend's parents are either divorced
or miserably still together; or in the best scenario
are married, best friends, love each other but
are no longer "in love"

Weird.
