I misspoke there, I apologize. She doesn't owe them a blank tape in addition to the footage.

See how easy that was? I made a mistake, I admit it, I apologize and correct it and we move on. SG could end this by tucking her innerchild away for a day and at least meet KATG halfway.

Well, if she agreed to record something for them, then doesn't she owe it to them? Isn't that an oral agreement? If the tape belonged to them, then isn't it technically their legal property? Your point would only be valid if the tape was SG's and she then proceeded to voluntarily videotape the show. As has been repeatedly explained in this thread, this was not the case. And it has nothing to do with what happened afterward, regarding email exchanges, phone calls and forum posts. Speaking of which, I'm about to break that down in a separate post.

Upon further review, here's my take on SG's excuses for why she kept and has not returned the tape.

It's hard to tell which of her emails was first, but they contradict. In one she states that she's out of space on her computer. In the other she simply states that she has a lot going on, this video stuff takes time, and she is on an 'insane deadline' with her own video production, being done on her very old, slow machine.

So she's both completely out of hard drive space *AND* is extremely busy using her non-existent hard drive space to meet her own video production deadlines.

This is pegging my bullshit meter.

On top of all that, KATG and Brolo should be a bit concerned when she says "Besides, I was under the impression that footage was mine to use as well."

I don't know what he particular situation exactly is or was, but I know that sometimes I run out of HD space and cannot rip and burn stuff until I do some cleaning. Decide what can come off the HD and be archived on to DVD. That type of thing. Maybe that's what she meant.

I would have a much easier time understanding SG getting thrown under the bus if it hadn't only been a week. Why burn bridges when you don't have to? Maybe wait two weeks before calling her a dumb hippie bitch.

I refer you to your first paragraph......"I don't know what he particular situation exactly is or was..." And yet the rest of your posts come across as if you know everything about it. I believe the situation is exacerbated by the fact that she didn't return Keith or Chemda's phone calls but did return Brolo's emails. They felt snubbed and dissed and decided to put it all out there. Besides, it's not like there was much of a bridge there to burn. What, now their listening audience is going to drop 15%? Have you seen SG's forums? It's like a ghost town compared to KATG.....

I have no idea how many listeners SG has. I would imagine it's not as many as KATG. That's not really what I was referring to. I was pointing out that when you burn bridges, other people may be less inclined to get involved with you when they see how you treat your friends.

More like co-workers in this case I think. But yes, there's definitely a "don't fuck with us" vibe going on. But it's not like KATG are hard-up for friends or fans....
