If this were to happen, do you think you would be able to purchase a gun during the "emergency?" I would point out Federal actions taken against gun owners during Katrina.

I agree, Bush has been hanging back during the election process. His administration isn't even going after Obama with the Logan Act, which would be completely legal and legit.
