Nazi vs. Arab Extremist is a bad comparison to begin with. A better debate would be Nazi extermination of the Jews vs. 9/11. Both are the worst thing either group ever did. On that basis 6 million Jews trumps a few thousand people in NYC. But Nazis are no longer a threat, and terrorists are very much a threat, so I can understand why someone born 20 years ago is more worried about terrorists. It's like comparing the best song from 1945 vs. 2005. Hard to do.
