I just got out of the KATG Chat. Bryan Ford you son of a gun... This guy hears us talking about the great John Petrie and looks him up. John not only died in 2020, but from his musical connections Bryan realized that there’s most likely a storage facility with all of John’s “belongings.”

No problem, re-listening to the early shows again from the beginning has kept me semi-sane this last year (finished lol) and continues to keep me company since I left NYC in 2006 having just found out about the podcast (episode 4 I think). When Newsy mentioned that name on his show tonight I remembered a little search I did a while back. I never mentioned it figuring Keith knew and I had somehow missed it being talked about on the show until tonight. Seems New Orleans only has 5 or so main storage companies so maybe we'll get lucky. I'm sure there's others here who can dig deeper than me but I'll make a few calls and you never know, not betting on it but it would be wild to get to read a book I've heard about for years and only a small re-payment for many years of laughter.

I also found it creepy from the mother.

I don’t see it as my job to advertise the sexiness of my daughter to the world.
She is 8 so it would be extra creepy. I hope she enjoys her life when she is older!

So fucking bizarre. Just more onto more levels of his fucked up secrecy. It's like you'll find out shit for years little by little.

I need to be a very honest person, because I’m way too lazy and unwilling to keep any secrets from Mr Apia.
It’s so cool that he could ( he never did in 15 years) take my phone and look at all my texts or files and there is absolutely nothing suspicious. Some jokes with my friends, lots of podcasts, photos of nature and the Kids.
Honestly is pretty freeing. I’m the same person everywhere. Here, at work, at home, with friends. Same old Apia.

There is NO amount of self work, therapy & rehab a person like him could do in this limited amount of time that would prepare him to be a full-fledged non-shitty person in a committed relationship like this now.

About a year ago, an acquaintance's bf (which none in my friends group knew at all) messaged about a dozen of us on FB telling us all what a liar and whore the friend (his gf) was. It was truly bizarre and threatening enough that one person went to the cops about this guy's harassment. A few months later, in covid-time, this girl slipped that she was still with him - declaring "he got therapy and worked on his issues" all in the span of like 3 months? You can't therapize that kind of nonsense out of a person like you're going through an express checkout. It's the same shit as Hennessey - he's just holding back his true nature for now while he does his BS love-bomb narcissist moves.

He isn’t honest with himself.
I’m sure he didn’t admit to what he really did.
And a new cycle begins. The fiancée seems lovely, and she is interesting to him now.
Give it 2-3 years.
The cycles are normally getting shorter and shorter.

She sees him in great light and he probably said something that Chemda changed after her surgery and that’s why they didn’t work out.

He likes to be seen as a good person, but can’t hold it up. The cracks will start to show and by that time she will be less interesting.

“Sometimes we were the antennae” I cackled at that memory. In my house we called them rabbit ears, I guess that was supposed to make it fun when the parents/babysitter/older sibling would make the little kids move the antenna around. Lol!

The hidden cubby is a really messed up discovery. Also, how typical that he cut the hole goofy. Like if you’re going to be shady at least be good at being shady..... my immediate first thought was a secret cell phone. You deserved so much better than that. Damn, Chemda, I am at a loss for words :(
