I think someone got killed.

Just imagine being so comfortable to not only openly boast about wanting to beat somebody up, actually taking active steps to figure out how to find that person, then taking a witness with you to the gun shop that know exactly what you are planning to do with that gun.
Fun story, who needs de-escalation when you can just help along violence.

I'm so not surprised by anything that is happening in America at the moment.

Yeah. If he told me ahead of time he was taking me surprise gun shopping I would have said no. He kept saying how he wants to keep me out of it, - that’s not how you do it!

Don't get me wrong I don't blame you, I wouldn't know how I'd deal with surprise gun shopping.

I was just having a little bit of a disconnect between last weeks discussion around 'why is that person so comfortable to tell me they still hang out with their racist parent' being different to 'hey let me tell you all about how I'm not only hanging out with but actually helping somebody who is planning to beat somebody up'

That’s a good point.

I waited a long time to get VIP because I was catching up on a million other podcasts. I finally caved for KATG Week and I can't believe how much entertainment I've been depriving myself of. Aside from loving CHU & A, I am loving feeling like I'm in on things when you guys mention an old episode and I can just search it up and listen to it next. I have 3 episodes queued up just from hearing them mentioned in this episode.

Okay. Umm. Let’s see. I think I still have a ways to go in disconnecting myself from people who would put themselves and others in harms way over trivial things. I didn’t mention on the show that this guy is an alcoholic who’s life is doing a big unravel during this pandemic, so good decisions aren’t anywhere near him. Maybe I’ll think twice before taking a joyride with him in the future.
