The best rendition of that song ever!

Agreed, the song is too good to just be the opening to one episode - should close the main show sometime. Also, I noted that this episode's retrospective begins around the 45 minute mark which feels fairly typical. I feel like this could be marketed as an additional weekly episode of the main show where Newsy happens to be the only guest. This also means that I might know more about Newsy's life than anyone actually in mine. Corn chowder and all.
I liked Midnight Mass but was swayed by Chemda's passion. It certainly elicited a lot of interesting conversations. Loved the 'Horror Queers' episode(Patreon 10/26) + this one from Final Girls. |
midnight mass
I liked it, but it was too much with the heavy-handed monologues.
I liked the commentary on religious fervor. I might be a little confused though. Ok so - if you get the vampire blood in you, you get cured of what's ailing you, but don't become full-fledged vampire until you die. BUT the way the vampire-blood-component is, it still will react to sunlight - so it burns up without harm/killing the alive host? That's why the blood samples blew up in the light, right? If that premise is true, wouldn't that mean any cure effects (fixing a paralyzed person) would disappear once that person is in the sun? That girl had def been out walking in the sun prior to the end of the show. Is this a plot hole or am I confused? |
