just create a new folder in your pictures folder, call it ipod pictures (or something clever, whatever) and put all the pics you want on your ipoid in there. then when your ipod is connected to your itunes, go to preferences and to the ipod options. change the folder that the pictures load from to that new folder. and that should be it.
