keith and chemda trying to understand why jimmy fallon won the grammy is almost exactly like musicians trying to understand why songs like call me maybe and anything by chris brown are up for them too.

how many dicks do you have to suck to get a grammy? probably more than how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop

GIRLS

Girls is a great show. I hate almost every one of the characters, but it's in a good way. I hate almost everyone in real life, too, but people are people. That's how life is. I really don't like her movies, so I assumed everyone hated on her show because it sucked like the movies. Thing is, most people's opinions are just like Danny's on this episode, which makes no sense. People seemed to berate the show for shit that had nothing to do with the show itself. I gave it a shot and still like it. She's true to herself, and that's all that matters to me.

Also, Lena Dunham's dad doesn't work for HBO. He's a supposedly well-known artist (I've never heard of Carroll Dunham). Maybe something or another has come from her parent's success, but she writes all of her own stuff. Nobody's acting for her; that's her on the screen. Writer, producer, director, whatever. She puts in a lot of work, and she deserves to be where she is. And what the fuck is a trust fund baby anyway? I feel like people are giving a terrible connotation to something that isn't bad or good. If that means she gets a ton of money, then so what? You want her to just sit around and eat ice cream all day? She's making art, and she's making something of her life. The means by which she is able to express herself have nothing to do with the quality or how much work she puts into her art.

I don't think Kelly is fat....but what do I know. Apparently I am a stereotypical black guy that likes curves.

Chemda said (concerning men/women paying for things in a dating relationship)

"If the man makes more money, it leans that way. If the woman makes more money it could lean that way."

So much for equality. Admit that if a man can't provide for a women even in a short term dating experience, it is looked down on upon in society, by conservatives, progressives and feminists alike. Maybe that is how it should be.

Chemda you are so right. You have to look into the school your kids will be going to. My son went to a public elementary school where parents camp out 10 days or more to get their child into the school. Most of the schools in Cincinnati Public are failing schools. What makes this school different? The parents care. If you are willing to wait outside in the cold, rain, snow for a school not the latest Iphone but for your kids education you care. The parents in this school volunteer and make sure their kids are there to learn. My son is now in 7th grade and entered into the #1 school in Ohio #90 nation wide. He attends Walnut Hills High School. It is a college prep school that you have to test into and if you don't keep your grades up you get kicked out. This school is also a public school. The failure of the school system is blamed on the teachers. If you ask me it is the parents who are at fault.

Chemda put the freeze on her moms?! I LOVE IT! Man love how both of you guys are talking about standing up to the personal ignorance that actually directly affects you. I always feel like if the people in our lives truly love us they’ll cave to some extent. I don’t care what the relationship is between us I can’t live with you openly admonishing and sending negativity towards me and my loved one! Fucking awesome guys!

Oh and you took it to the private school? Oh shit you shaking the table! Go Chemda. Go Chemda! LOL!

In seven and a half years of listening, Keith not liking The Lumineers is going to be thing that offends me? I don't care about either way The Lumineers. But I suppose it's just as willfully ignorant of me to not know any forum post that isn't a Shari's Berries testimonial is going to be read in as angry a voice as possible.

Someday, Michael will change the name of this place to the Keith And The Girl Compliment Forums. Until then, every once in awhile I'll forget my place. And for that I truly apologize.

I think I just read that in my head in the appropriate voice, for example.

"Until then..."
