Glam/Hair metal is like the Nickelback of heavy rock and although I hate the multitude of label music has, I wouldn't describe it as metal. I can appreciate some of the riffs, melodies and vocal prowess but it is like pop/boy band music to me. I'm not saying it is shit because there are a lot of great musicians in the genre but it is just way too cheesy for me.

Steel Panther sum up the genre perfectly and its OK to laugh with them as they are trying to make you laugh;
