Tough Crowd - Dipaolo, Vos, Marc Maron, Jim David - YouTube

Here's Jim on Tough Crowd. Man I still agree with him to this day.

Jim

Jim constantly saying "Huh?!" really got on my nerves, I think it even bothered Keith by the end 'cos he started doing it back to him LOL!
I wasn't really a fan of Jim.... he came across as quite arrogant and fake.

I was going to say Jim is the interrupt king but Keith banned negative feedback so I'll just say it was a great show and the guest was very interesting and was supper polite and never cut anyone off mid sentence.

Man Jim flat-out steamrolled Chemda a few times early in the show. Maybe he didn't realize it was a conversation-type show and thought more of a radio zoo-style "turn it on" type performance was expected. Luckily Chemda learned to just keep talking and he began to cut off his own cut-offs.

Fun guest apart from that. He doesn't seem like much of a listener but he's a great yapper.

From my vantage point, Religion is the root of all evil.

I'm just listening back now, and he does get a little evasive at times in response to a number of Keith and Chemda's questions. I didn't pick up on that before and I can see now how teeth grinding it would have gotten for both of them. Still, I thought that overall, he was pretty good.

Sorry - not evasive ...shy and retiring...?

& not teeth grindingly frustrating but...how about - acoustically encouraging...???

The idiots who wrote your bible hated everything. The fact you are (in 2013) still referring to any of them as "sins" is crazy. Anyone who quotes the bible for moral ground is a crazyperson.
