Here's the story;
Shows are usually pre-recorded Monday to Thursday and the live show is the one on Fridays. The filename of the MP3 states when it was recorded (eg. Todays fine episode is; KATG-2006-04-18.mp3
The secret shows are recorded live after the Friday live shows - but they don't happen all the time.

Thanks.. kinda i guess. Well first off all I'm not a retared... I'm just dutch :P
But I know how shows are recorded. But saturday morning when it was still night in america I went to the chat and I asked if there was a live show that friday night but they said there wasnt any. Show then there is a secret backstage show which is obvious recorded after keiths stand up. So i'm wondering was that Saturday night or sunday?

Then they release the official live show (show 259) and thats also obvious recorded after the saturday show and again i wonder is it saturday night or sunday? And now i'm also wondering if the secret backstage show is a seperate thing or the after show of number 259...

So i'm just confused. And btw my mp3s of the show are like 260_The Big Time.mp3

The Super Secret Backstage show was recorded right after show 259 (which was recorded on Monday night) and was recorded at KATG's house where the normal show is recorded. These crazy Americans give silly names to the shows sometimes - "backstage" didn't actually mean it was recorded backstage.

Sorry about the filename confusion - the dates of the shows are on the filenames you get from libsyn.com - I've got no idea about the iTunes versions.

Correction: The secret shows are not recorded, or at least not released, by KATG. The only recording is done by fans who then torrent it out for about six hours on monday morning until someone gets a brain and puts it on a free host, because not all of us are dumb enough to load torrent software on our work computers.
