Only a few minutes into the episode and I love this guy. A non-aggressive funny version of the Gootz with a bunch of non informational stories. That’s supposed to be a compliment.

I don't think we have to wait for Last Week to know how frustrated you guys were. I can't fathom listening to him for another minute let alone 6 hours...

There were so many times where it felt like we were going to get an answer to a question then BAM - GOTCHA! I honestly can't remember him from the other two episodes he was on but I think I would've remembered being this annoyed with a guest.

Well done on keeping the show interesting and moving while dealing with that.

The Gootz's first episode was an easier listen

i’ve had Valentine’s decorations up for over a month; lace paper doilies, window stickers, heart shaped door hangers. this way, we call each other Valentine a lot like sweet dummies, Bear can get me little things over a few weeks, and we can mindfully do lots of sweet thoughtful things for each other rather than putting pressure on a Big Day— it’s a full season. got my card already and everything! it’s dinosaur themed.

For the meat industry they raise both male and female chicken. They taste pretty much the same when they are killed young as meat birds are so it doesn't matter.

For the egg industry clearly only females are needed and the males are killed in a variety of gruesome ways immediately after hatching. Because the egg breed males are #useless and wouldn't grow into sellable meat.
Oh the joys of humans being assholes to animals.

There was a court case in Germany last year trying to make that practice illegal but it was shut down, they are looking into ways to determine sex before hatching to avoid that problem but the methods are apparently not widely (aka cheaply) available yet.

All of this reminds me of a past episode where Chemda and Hennessy tried to figure out whether chicken eggs are abortions.
