Story about Dad's trying to fix sick kids......

When i was little, maybe 8 or 9, my dad made me NeoCitrin (powder lemon medicine you add hot water too) when i had a bad cold. So he makes it, gives me the mug, i drink it and say. "uhhh i don't like this it tastes like rubber!" Being a fussy kid my mom thought i was being a suck until she tried it, questioned my father, and found out he boiled the water he had used in his hot water bottle.

We were kinda poor growing up but i had no idea what my dad was thinking............we weren't THAT poor.
