To be fair, to really follow Spooky's diet, you can't just eat chicken. You have to spend your days cleaning up after a slob roommate and night shivering like a rain soaked rage filled chihuahua about having to clean up after said roommate until you finally snap and yell at him. It should be called the Mexican maid diet.

Now that he had yelled as the roommate...he'll get fat.

Bitchy Medical Receptionists

The old receptionist at my DR was the biggest cunt in the universe. Everytime I walked in the surgery she would act like I was wasting her and the doctors time by being sick. Like I had inconvenienced her by my presence and that I was in her workplace with my disease seemed to disgust her. Perhaps if sick people disgust you, you shouldn't work in a place where sick people go.

Her treatment to most of the world was in direct contrast to the way she would treat my grandmother who goes to the same doctor. Now my grandmother would get the same bitchy treatment on the phone until she said her name, at which point a light would go on and normally bitchy receptionist would turn all nice. We eventually figured out that she had my grandmother confused with someone else with the same last name. The other old lady was a Lady (in the Knight of the Realm sense) and bitchy receptionist thought she was being nice to the upper classes.

I've only met one nice receptionist at my old GP's. And I see alot of them. I don't know what it is - it's certainly not the most stressful 'customer service' job there is.

People are usually nervous and stressed, who wants to be there, they could at least be nice and spread some sort of comfort.

My latest confrontation was due to the receptionist at my rheumatologists office announced my latest results to my husband who was picking up tax forms that I had to have filled out, in front of a FULL waiting room. I have a do not disclose policy in my chart - not to him, to my mom, let alone god knows who was in there. I'm the only one who needs that information, and I decide how to tell it. She scared him - and I could have found a gentler way to let him know the results.

That is a violation of my privacy and hells yeah I confronted her about it. She brushed it off, so I'm going higher. This was wrong, and I'm going to the top if I have to.

I'm a nice person, but this crossed me, and I'm not happy one bit.

GOY, I'm sure you aren't the first person she's done that to. Also, reading between the lines, I hope things are looking good for you.
