My people? Little bit of both. My uncle, for example, worked for some pretty big dealerships in the area and then started his own local yokel shop. He is an excellent mechanic, but not so great a business man. He was giving away his services for more personal services from his female clientele. Can't really pay rent with BJs, so his shop went under within the year (he says he doesn't regret it, though, so eh?)

We have so much snow up here and it gets so cold that it can fuck up the car. That period of time where winter transitions to spring is particularly bad for pot holes and results in wonky tires. Balancing helps with shaking when you go over a certain speed too.

I've never been so offended in all the time I've listened
I marched in a BLM March, voted to allow abortion. I am currently teaching my daughter how to do brakes and change oil, I taught my son not to long ago. I work in it so have set up quite a few routers and more. I also am flying my wife to Vegas for her birthday this year to spend 3 days alone celebrating.
The car maintenance is born from just being to poor and now that I can do it I just don't trust the idiots that do oil changes
