When Justin and I announced that we were going to be foster parents, I was shocked when two people very close to me…who knew that I was the breadwinner of the family and the one with access to great insurance, if I was going to quit my job to be a stay at home mom. Two people who were single mothers.

I was asked so often who takes care of my kids when I'm working when they were smaller and Mr Apia was asked exactly 0 times.
My answer was always, : "what do you mean take care? I just left them at home. This was wrong? Can you help me?"

When I'm out and someone asks "who's watching your daughter" I just shrug and say "eh i don't know..." or "I THOUGHT YOU WERE WATCHING HER, SHIT!"

The fuck kind of question is that though? You're right, no one ever asks that of my husband, Mr. Bootie.
