Well I THINK this is what happened...I bought these fancy running shoes. There seems to be some kind of odour guard in the mesh of th shoes. I went out the other day in the rain and the shoes got sopping wet. a few hours later I wanted to go for another run and I picked up the shoes, they were wet and STUNK lke cat piss...I mean really bad. So the cat got the lecture and out came the neutralizer and the cleaners. I took out the laces and cleaned the shoes but forgot to clean the laces. I left the shoes to dry but the smell remained. THEN I picked up the laces and realized that they didn't smell at all of cat piss so how is it possible that the cat peed o the shoe, directly on the top...but missed the laces.

We are thinking it is the odour guard that is make the shoes putrid...do you think this is very wishful thinking??? well anyway she's never peed on anything else so why that.

My family has two cats, one very old (16) ginger female tabby named Redrum, and a black and white mixed breed named Mitten. We got Redrum when I was 6 so I basically grew up with her, and Mitten came along when I was 12. Unfortunately when I turned 15/16 I developed a horrible cat allergy and now can't really go near them. Absolutely sucks cause I love them both dearly.

Well, at least one of us is ready to move.

Do you think he thought the box was labeled "cats"? (His spelling has always been sub-par.)

True story this weekend: I was cleaning out my fish tank and placed the fish into a small bowl and left it on the counter. I turned around and noticed Sebastian sitting next to the bowl on the counter. I tell him to get down, and finish cleaning the tank. I check the bowl a moment later, and it's empty. I have a heart attack, thinking Sebastian ate the fish. It turns out I find both fish on the counter, flopping around, and I manage to get them both back in the water before they die. They're fine now. I was so upset with Sebastian that I was actually ready to put him out and never let him back in. Either my fish are suicidal, or he reached in and managed to get them out of the bowl, and by luck they landed on the counter with enough water to keep them alive for a couple of extra minutes. I think it's the latter. I felt guilty for getting so mad at him, but I don't condone one pet killing another, even if it's in their nature.

I like cats alright but the apartment I am living in makes you pay a $300 pet deposit so alas no cats for me.

A similar thing happened with my beta fish in high school. His name was Happy Gill-more (KAHMEDY)! I came home from a night out and my mom said that our cat had knocked over the fish bowl and when she came home and saw it she thought that poor Happy Gillmore was dead so she put him outside on the back porch in a box we could deal with him the next morning. We went out the next day AND HE STARTED FLOPPING AROUND! I put him back into fresh water and he lived for 2 more years after that, I swear. I also changed his name to Jesus-Fish.

The only explanation I can come up with to this day is that it was so cold out that he froze into a little fish coma or something. I don't know but I saw him with my own eyes. And my mom really did not give enough fucks about me or my fish to pull off some sort of switch-a-roo on a 16-year-old. So who knows?!

Two cats, soon to be three. The first two are Luna and Artemis (the cats from Sailor Moon). Luna's a black female that has a constant "I'd like to tear your face off" look to her, but she'll still cuddle with the kids (surprisingly not violent with them, just leers). Artemis is a gray and white male (yes, Artemis was a female, but the Sailor Moon cat is a boy, albeit all white - couldn't find an all-white so he'll do) with a constant "help me" face. He's the one the kids pick up or lay on. He also has three thumbs on one paw and two on another. Tomorrow, we're getting a third (friend has to move), and orange tabby that's only a month or two old. Small enough to be swallowed whole by the other two, hopefully there won't be too many fireworks.

Luckily, as much as the kids grab and play and lay (two years ago he was just a pillow for my toddler), they don't scratch and rarely hiss. But some of their PDAs are a bit much for the kids (constantly cleaning each other, licking genitals, etc.). Thankfully, they're both fixed.
