Yes, sorry, just used to shortening it. Dx'd in 2007 for Lupus and then last summer came the Fibro. Had RA since I was a child.

I didn't realize you had that kind of a medical situation! One of my cousins married a girl that had/has JRA. She's in a lot of pain all the time. Has to take hot baths to be able to move most mornings and is on a lot of meds.

I don't know much about lupus other than it's a reaction to the sun? I'm sure it's more serious than that though.

Good luck with the new doctor and hope that whatever they do will help you move better.

Thank you! It's no fun. Keith and Chemda had me on #493 when I was first Dx'd, so there are more details there.

Sun is just one effect of it. My immune system is in overdrive and thinks my body is sick, thus attacking it making it sick, so it attacks organs, connective tissues, etc. and yes it is very painful..

I was in an airport with my grandfather who had his voice box removed so had one of those electronic things. He said something to one of the TSA bag searching people & they didn't understand him so I translated. The woman said "Can you tell him blah blah blah".
I automatically said "He can understand you" in a cunty voice then felt bad. Then I got mad at myself for feeling bad, perhaps someone working in an airport in Tampa should be a bit more sensitive to old people's disabilities? But then its a TWA woman they don't come in sensitive.

They are TSA employees, not McDonald's employees, you can't really expect much out of them intelligence wise.

I love how you say that McD's employees are nicer than Airport employees!!! I worked at McD's for 2 years when I was younger and I would even agree that they are nicer than the flight attendants.

Dude, no kidding. McD's ppl are extraordinarily nice, for a fast food chain. A huge difference from 10-15 years ago.
