But he did last longer than Chris Eccleston, who many seem to miss more than Tenant for some reason. You have to give him that, no? I don't think british actors like to play one part too long in general if you go by most british shows.

There's an actor here called William Roach who's been playing the same character (Ken Barlow) in the soap opera Coronation Street for 48 years

I havent been able to decide who i think is "My Doctor", Tenant or Eccleston.

I understand that some people choose which doctor they love most and say "That was My Doctor."

And I've heard it on the show more than once.

Julio how was the show. I did'nt get a chance to watch it. I hope it's on hulu.

I like each actor for the different traits they bring to the Doctor. It's funny b/c the first Doctor we started watching was David Tennant and my wife instantly fell in love with him. Then we saw "season one" and she immediately fell for Eccleston and her affections for Tennant hasn't been the same since.

As for the show? If you're referring to the Christmas special of DW, it hasn't aired on SciFi yet. We usually get them like 6 months later. Speaking of which, does anyone know a good torrent for me to see this? And what season is the UK up to? We only had up to Season 4 "Journey's End".

I was totally into season one Doctor and when I found out there was Tennant for season 2, I auto-hated him for a good 3 episodes. Now, I <3 him... and he is screwing me over >=\

yeah.. so sad and true. Which makes me wonder what happens after they hit their limit of regenerations. Are they going to do a reset or just make eccleston the new #1 and thereby giving us an extra 10 to look forward to.

So noone knows a good torrent for this xmas special??

I think they will do something like say "well now the doctor gets unlimited regenerations because he is the only Doctor left" I think that explanation would totally work. And I don't see them ending the show because of some silly little rule created decades ago.

Or they could just totally retcon it and never mention the 12 regeneration thing ever again.

They could not make Chris E. the 1st doctor. They have already referenced the other 8 doctors way too much. The past Christmas special they just showed all 10 doctors. on that infotube thingie
