Godaddy offers many more savings opportunities and management tools. However, transferring from godaddy to your host can be a pain. And also, what type of management do you really need? You buy the domain and assign it to your host. You'll get reminders to update and renew. Godaddy's management tools are really just upsells. Plus and minus..
