It's going to be difficult to find a female costume that isn't whorish. You'll probably have to go the blood and guts route.

The funniest costume I ever saw in my life was a Barbie doll, it was actually a guy...the dress part went over his head and he carried around one of those Barbie doll heads that's meant to practice doing hair (Do you know what I mean, they're in the toy aisle, like mannequin heads almost) and had it cut all weird and messed up.

Maybe it was only funny because it was a guy, or maybe because it hit home with me because that's how my Barbies always looked, headless and with hair chopped off in random places...

GASP your POOR barbies. Mine were all rockstars and supermodels...they didn't exprience obvious trauma like yours

I totally agree that it's hard not to go whorish - thats why I was turning to you guys! I'm still leaning towards an accident victim to match up with my friends nurse costume...I was thinking beach wear of some type, with flipflops so I could fashion a "toe tag" of somesort to wear around my ankle...something something, work in progress

Who knows - I could end up going a completely differernt way and end up a fairy princess of some type....

I just liked doing their hair...it was easier when they didn't have bodies...

I tried cutting my own hair last summer for the first time ever. I think I might have fared better if I had practiced on my barbies...or removed my head first.

God that was a disastor...like seriously took 6 months and MANY MANY trips to the hair dresser to make my hair look like well, I hadn't cut it myself.

I remember going out on halloween with my freshmen girlfriend dressed as a stripper (right down to thong), hell she even flashed a cop, good times.

Isn't this the point of putting on costumes?
