Moving back home

Just after I left home, my father sold our family home, purchased a caravan and moved into the local trailer park. So I couldn't go back home.

I live with my 18yo son and it is cool. I think it really depends on the parents. I don't care if he has noisy sex all over the place, just as long as I'm not actually in the room at the time

i have the opposite situation: a few months ago, dad got married and moved out of the city with new wife. me and sister stayed where we were [grandpa owns the house] and we dont have to pay rent, just phone/electric/gas/water. we expect the marriage to fail, however, so i'm waiting for him to try to move back here. oh the hell that will bring

This got me thinking, has anybody else had to move back to your parents house? And if you have, got any interesting stories? Maybe your stories will help me get through the next few months before I move to Chicago after I finish school.

I moved back for a year after my roomate decided to shack up with her now husband - and yeah, it wasn't ideal, but I was able to buy a condo a lot faster then some of my friends. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel strangeone. Good luck!

Oh, nicely done. My son is just waiting for me to leave home so he can take over the house.
