Thanks! I was surprised that I knocked it out, yesterday but I just kept going, in case I wasn't able to do much if any today, which I can't, so my plan worked. Hopefully back on it tomorrow.

Three days in and I already have 56 words! I'm on a roll.

...This week has been rough as I am exiled from my loft until Friday. I'll have to kill/stimulate some braincells next week to make up for it.

I had a friend whip these up for me two years ago when I thought I've give NaNoWriMo another shot... I think I made 2000 words that year (too much partying)-- much worse than my 10,000 in 2006.

I am amyuilani on that site too. I have a novel going, and I am 4 chapters in. I have to juggle it with school, and since I am taking statistics this term, the novel isn't winning.

ETA: I just did my word count, and I'm at 21,049. The finished product isn't supposed to have more than 50,000. I am on pace to double that. Oh, the pains of the first draft...

I am so damn excited, and holy shit Amy! That is amazing.

I'll get back to it hardcore by the weekend, had some hellish tests and hurts to type as much as I want to. I'm also having fun watching the @nanowordsprints on twitter, I'm going to jump on that too.

I am very much behind where I want to be (about 6500 words). I plan on going to a pub this morning and drinking beer and writing with my bestie.

Hey, my username is dannyhatch. I really enjoy doing this. My creative writing class did it a few years ago, but I didn't get too far. The lack of editing that goes along with this, though, is pretty neat.
