I didnt think snuff or rant were that bad, maybe compared to the quality of survivor, choke, and invisble monsters they fell short but i still had funning reading them.

Im getting excited to read Pygmy

I liked Rant, it was original and interesting. Snuff on the other hand, had a non-existent plot and looked like a collection of crazy ancdotes who managed to make extreme porn boring...

I really loved Fight Club, Survivor was interesting but I had a really hard time to get through Lullaby so I didn't check out his other books.

The summary for Pygmy looks interesting but I will wait for your reviews before making my decision.

Would love to get this but the fucking bookstores here suck at importing books. Even though Pygmy releases tomorrow in the US it won't be available here until maybe mid june.

How can I get this book digitally? I have no kindle and the iphone kindle app only works in the US. >.>

Amazon.de has it listed for the 5th of May for 17,95 EUR and apparently delivers free of charge to the Netherlands (at least they say so on their website)

His repetitive material is getting tiring. I was a fan at first, now he's just getting monotonous.

I read almost all of his books. I didn't buy Snuff because it looked like shit. Most are very good. I'll wait for some feed back on this one before I buy it.

BTW, if you like Palahniuk, read The Contortionist Handbook, by Craig Clevenger.

I did, and I love that book! His follow up is not as good.

I became a huge fan of Chucks biggest inspiration Amy Hempel.

Shes a short story minimalist, and I re-read her stories from time to time and they always move me in some way.

Here is one of her stories

The Harvest : Macro-Fiction by Amy Hempel

I went to my local bookstore to pick up JJ Abram's Wired issue:

And look what they had there:

Do want. Palahniuk is right up there in my list of favorite authors. Can't wait to get a hold of this one.
