So far, so good. I can't buy ANYTHING unnecessary, and can no longer afford to have my hair cut and highlighted...so that's no fun, but I'm getting by. After all my bills and rent are paid, I have about $400 left each month for food and gas.

My girlfriend already was laid off. She was doing graphic design work. i made her go back in there a demand some type of package. They just came in one day and told her it was her last day. That's BS.

So far my job is still kicking. But then again nothing is guaranteed. I'm working on creating some form of income outside of my job for this year. The bad thing about this economy is that it has killed my savings. I'm close to check to check which is the opposite of how I normally live.

I can't totally blame the economy for my current situation. I've been unemployed since March and haven't had a decent paying job since 2006. Most of that is because I'm lazy and directionless and a bit disabled due to a back injury. The poor economy has made it hard to find even a menial job because the only work available is for nurses or car salesmen it seems.
